Parent Information

You must have one of these documents to proceed with an application for child care subsidy.

  1. Notice of Assessment for the previous tax year or
  2. Canada Child Benefit (CCB) if you receive this benefit.
  3. If you are a newcomer and have not yet filed taxes, documentation of your landing and status in Canada.

If you do not have your Notice of Assessment you can get one from Service Canada if your taxes have been filed. Your application for child care subsidy cannot proceed without this document; you must be able to provide Line 236 - net income of the Notice of Assessment.

Any information you provide on the Child Care Fee Subsidy Online Application form will be used for all purposes related to administering the child care fee subsidy program including but not limited to: verifying your current and ongoing eligibility for child care fee subsidy, statistical gathering, program evaluation, and research. The collection of your personal information is in accordance with the sections 8 and 9 of Regulation 138/15 under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, S. O. 2014, c. 11, Sched. 1.
